 Tempe High School Class of 1969 - Latest News 03-06-2009 - update of March 5th meeting Minutes of reunion Meeting on 3/5/09 The meeting was held in the conference room of Grady Gammmage's Tempe office. In attendance were: John Ditsworth, Mark Kirchner, Mark Heier, Diane (Hull) Grant, and Paulette Chartier. The date for the 40th has been narrowed down to sometime in October of 09. Diane, Paulette, and Mark K. are looking into possible sites including Rustler's Roost, Auntchilada's, and Botanical Gardens. When we reconvene we will have more detailed information on these options, and hopefully be able to nail down a location and price. The prevailing thought is to keep the Saturday night event casual, with hot appetizers, and a cash bar, rather than a sit down dinner. Also we discussed being able to mill around and mingle as well as have some activities such as line dancing etc. We are trying to keep the cost between $30. and $50 per person. Mark Heier is working on ideas for a video presentation. He has a production company and has done a great job in the past. Friday night will probably be an "all class" Buff Bash which has been initiated in the past by Doug Royce and the class of 66. This would enable us to combine with other grads and make use of an established gathering. We are hoping everyone will make use of the wonderful website Pat (Donovan) Gill has set up and update their info as well as make it public for others to see. Future meetings will be held on the first Thursday of each month, making the next meeting on April 2. Any and all are welcome to attend. We would love your input.
