I've seen several photo commentaries buried in other headings, and have often wanted to comment myself. I hope maybe this heading will funnel them all to one location. I love seeing new pictures posted.
I'll begin. Do I start with the 2 Mike's who were bold enough to begin by posting their pictures first on the 'Look at us Now' heading; or maybe the first family picture of the Seattlites, the Cannons; or maybe the bikini clad Genie, Cindy and Gail; maybe Pat sittin all proper at her desk; or the grey, curly haired, pony tailed men (that would be me if I didn't cut, color, and blow dry every 6 wks); or maybe even Louis and his horse Cisco (and Tommy and the mule); could be Jorge and his driving his imaginary car in the street; or Kelly and his 'bubble thoughts' (how did I miss the cheerleaders skinny dipping event); or how about the two pilots in the group; or maybe Joellen and her Harley; could be 4 generations of beautiful women in one family; not to mention all the kids and grandkids. No, my choice is Vicki and Nancy on their horses! Who knew? I just knew they looked good in Wranglers! I know you can ride too, Vicki, but you look pretty darn good just sittin there. Nancy and Ted a competitive team? I'm impressed. Way to go gals.
Vic,
Where would I check for your brand on any of your men that I get as 'Hand-me-downs'? Oh, that was just my husband and he was a 'no-keeper.'
Personally, I think any man would love to have a wife who can and is willing to work as hard as you and looks as hot as you. That branding picture shows how 'sizzling' you are. (Please, no one act as the grammer police and critque my writing skills)
Vicki,
That picture is amazing. I agree with Gail. I think the men are going to be lining up after seeing it.
To see 'Jerry's jogging club', go to the 'Looking at us Now' heading and it's on page 3. I'd love to hear your commentary.
I have waited until the end of my day to comment Diane on the THS joggers. I kept looking for 'joggers'. It took me a long time to figure out those were just 'muscle bums' out there! (Remember I was a blonde once and it takes awhile for things to sink ind). And now that my roots are mostly grey (gray?). Ms. D (Kate) help with proper spelling! Iam finding that I don't see that well.
Aaaand then I saw them!! I really kept bypassing them because I thought it was someone's family. WHO ARE THOSE GUYS????
I really don't know what to say!! I was really hoping to come up with something witty or cute. I just was in awe! Of course, At this age, they may be looking good to me.... on the other hand... maybe not!!
So in summary.. Jerry? Is that really you on the left? I always thought you were taller? Well maybe having so many kids takes the height off.

Diane, I just noticed the pics. you posted. You really have a good looking family and they seem happy. Cute grandkids too!
Did you get cold on the snowmobile? I rode one back to see Old Faithful one time in the winter and it was lots of fun. Couldn't hardly walk when I got off, but fun!
Great picture of you and your daughter. She's beautiful and looks like her mom. 13 grandchildren, huh? I can hardly wait until our clan expands like that.

Thanks, she is due in about 3 weeks. They are having a boy, naming him Drew, nice, but just doesnt have the ring of Little Jerry. Dont you agree?
Jerry,
Your daughter is beautiful. You are so blessed with all those grand kids. Your daughter Kate, actually looks a lot like my daughter Gretchen. (My kids' father is a big blond Norweigian. Both the kids look like him.) I will try to post a picture of them. I do not have a picture of me with them, yet. I am working on that.
Halleluia! Finally that picture of you and your daughter I've been asking to see. Brittany's beautiful, of course. I always loved when they came home for Christmas. Colorado has some great schools. Our youngest attended Baylor, which is right in your backyard.
Bill,
I love the picture of you with you beautiful daughter. You both look so happy. You are a lucky man and she a lucky daughter. So , now it is time to see a piture of you and your wife, or do see have to wait to meet her at the reunion. She better attend because we all want to commend her for putting up with you for all these years. Just kidding! I am really looking forward to meeting her. I know she must be a wonderful woman.
The picture of you and your wife is great. I was beginning to think she was a phantom. It's clear she's real and you guys look real happy...and the kids look like her! Thanks for posting that, Bill. She's got a good man. I look forward to meeting her at the reunion.
It was Gail that wanted the Big Surf flag! She's my friend, so in support of her, I asked you to get it (Big Surf was built in '69)! Yes, I'm passing the buck. Like I said, we knew who to go to in order to get it. I'd love to hear that story, Bill. Better not put it in print, though. They may take us both away...me for the cherry bombs down the manholes, you for stealing a very public
flag that isn't yours! Help me here, Gail!
Okay, it was my idea, because I noticed the banners along Scottsdale road, north of University, when I was driving to the last reunion planning meeting.
BTW, the meet was over before I arrived and Gary Patton told me it only lasted 5 minutes, then the party began. It was so much fun to see all those that were there. It was like a Reunion Preview. The only part I did not care for in the 'trailer' for that preview was the realistic special effects for the vagal-vagus reaction. I mean, they were so real I actually felt like I was going to faint. It was beter than a ride at Disney Land. I was sure glad that Genie and you were there to have vicarious pleasure.
Anyway, back to the banners. Bill did up date me, today, that he has been able to 'apprehend' a banner. It is now in his possession. I, too, do not think the methods used to obtain the banner should be put into print. It is best to keep that information 'close to our vests.' (Bill, that means, each to our own vests. No, Bill, you cannot get close to Diane's or my chest.) Some things are best left unsaid. Even though I rarely follow that suggestion.
Not sure if you were of any help. Could have made it worse. JK
If anyone wants to see the picture from our 'meeting' at Rustler's Rooste, just click on the 'Reunion' icon. Then go to the red box on the right and click on 40th Reunion. You'll also see some pictures of the patio where the event will take place too.
Glad to know the vasal/vagal response is under control. All I could think about was having to do CPR with your scar (and sternum) still healing from your open heart surgery. It wouldn't have been pretty. I broke a woman's rib once doing that. We did save her life, though, and I knew I'd never see her again. She choked on a piece of steak, which is why we're having chicken for dinner.
Nice to see the pictures of you, Judy, and 'the boys'. You have to be in heaven that we didn't plan our reunion on Thanksgiving weekend this time, during hunting season. Looks like you're still enjoying the outdoors, and life in general.
Nice, big rainbow trout, too. I remember catching those in Hawley Lake (little ones) as a kid, in the summer. Dad would make us clean them ourselves and bury the guts in a trench we dug outside. Mom would dip them in egg, roll them in corn meal, and fry them up for dinner. Good times, huh?
Diane,
That picture was taken in a village in Northern Thailand, near the Lao, Burma border, more famously known as the golden triangle. These girls (almost all of them in the picture were in their teens) are members of the Pa Dong Karen tribe, that live along the Thai and Burmese border. The practice is dying out, but women of the tribe wear ornamental brass rings. The rings don't lengthen the neck, but rather push the collarbone and ribcage down. The effect is a giraffe like appearance. At first I was just going to take a picture of my family in front of the huts, when one of the girls came out and asked if she could be in the picture. The next thing we knew, all of her friends joined in. It was a memorable day to say the least.
Ladies (Belle, Denise, Gail, Linda, and Phyllis),
Two words: Pictures please! Just email Pat (Donovan) Gill to help you post them. She's a wiz on this computer thingy.
Diane
I'm waiting, Diane...! Come a month or so, I'll post something recent, but not yet. And no, I'm not visiting a plastic surgeon, although I'm wondering why not...
Glad you're on it. It takes about 6 wks. for the swelling to go down, I hear.
Belle, I think the guys want to see one of you in the pencil skirt and 5' heels. Are Spanx involved?
Carol H. Love to see one of you and your boys.
Denise, I know you have one up, but we'd love to see a pict of that 2yr. old grandson of yours, maybe from his birthday?
Gail, isn't your daughter-in-law a photographer? No excuses.
Linda, with those 4 boys and their families you and Dick have, you could rival the Evans, Ellingson, and Kerr clans. How about that one on the beach? I can hardly wait to see what Jerry and Brent put up everyday.
Bill, isn't that picture of the Big Surg flag evidence to take you away?
Also, ANYONE else who hasn't yet posted one.

Diane,
I have a right to remain silent. I know that anything I say may and will be used against me. I know that Gardy Gammage is my lawyer and he speaks for me.
You guys are too funny! All this chatter reminds me of study hall except we don't get in trouble for talking nowadays.
Re the plastic surgeon thing, I had my upper and lower eyelids done in 2001 (can't tell anymore) and discovered that plastic surgeons have a very long waiting list, say about a year! I have not scheduled any procedures, so it's not that. What I am doing is following a fat losing regimen written about by Jay Robb. I want to see if and how it works.
