Just checking in, wondering how everyone's doing? Isn't this something, what we're living through? SO grateful we got to celebrate our 50th Reunion last year. I feel for those facing celebrations now and the uncertainty ahead.
Ed and I are doing fine, staying close to home, not to worry the kids. Their plates are full enough with all their kids out of school. I've been cooking and baking like a crazy woman. It helps me cope, then we share with friends that can't get out. LMK if you want some cookies?
Ed's revising the golf book he wrote over 40yrs. ago, as a golf coach from FL wants more materials. He's also ordering all kinds of golf gadgets that he's enjoying.
We are blessed and grateful.
Diane, You are so resourceful! And positive. Although all of us might as well stay positive. Being negative wouldn't change anything. I am still hard at work. I signed 4 leases in April and have a closing tomorrow. And a listing coming up later this month. In the middle of all this I adopted a street puppy I saw walking on Guadalupe Rd. and the I10 overpass!! That was April 1st. She was in heat, teething and in need of a home. We named her Lucy and she's now part of the family. I'm looking for a vet for her, but can't find one in Tempe until social distancing is relaxed a bit. Other than this, I know that Tate is hiding out at home. Everybody else is non-incommunicado. Glad you and Ed are finding things to do. What are you doing about haircuts? Do you have a rabbit up your sleeve? I wish I did!
With everybody else in hiding, I continue to commute between Grand Junction, CO and work in upstate NY at Cornell Univ. With NY plates, I could do 100 across Kansas and the cops would let go without hassle.
Life in Coolidge AZ remains the same, slow and no COVID.. So excited to have my gym opened. That is the only thing that messed with my daily routine, no gym. Stay safe everyone, need y’all around for the 55th.
Hello All. I have had a most interesting Covid - 19 experience. An old boyfriend from college friend requested me on Facebook in January. He was wintering in AZ, living in New Jersey. We met for lunch to catch up. He wanted to tell me how I had inspired him to live a productive and good life. He became a general contractor/home builder, married at 40 and had 2 daughters. He is single again. I broke up with him when I was 20 as I felt he had no direction or future plans for his life. He told me I was the only girl who ever made him cry. We fell in love again, and are planning on getting married in March. We went up to my cabin in March/April/May and got reacquainted. I haven't been this happy in a long time. Life is crazy huh? Al and I are divorced now and he is happy as well. :) This photo is of Mark and me at a friends wedding in about 1970-71. I caught the bouquet and he caught the garter. This is a new email address for me btw. Apparently I can't post the photo :( Will try to post in the photo gallery.
