Our THS committee has been hard at work planning these events:
Friday, Oct. 24th, 5:00-9:00 PM at Daley Park. We'll BBQ hamburgers & hot dogs, with soft drinks provided by our class & Gary Patton is our official cook! We're also inviting adjacent THS classes & any McClintock '69ers that want to come.
Saturday, Oct. 25, 6:00 PM to whenever at Rolling Hills Clubhouse at Papago Park. We have the whole place to ourselves, $20 per head, with no host bar.
Steve Frizzell is collecting RSVPs and we already have #40 'yes' already!
Please help us find missing classmates and get info to Steve.
This site was instrumental with our 40th reunion. Hopefully we can breath some new life into it again.
'Somebody' suggested we have Karaoke at the reunion...What do you think? I have a'trio' in mind...Greg, Jack & Kelly?
Singing? How about members of our class who were in choir? They had excellent voices. Don't know if they're up for this or not, but a check of the yearbook would offer up some names. Lanny Pospicil and Steve White come to mind, but I know there are many others. Sorry I haven't attended any meetings - I figured I'd help out somewhere else along the way. Let me know if you need somebody help out behind the scenes during the reunion weekend.
It occurred to me yesterday that when we were in high school, girls wore dresses . . . and now they don't. From a guy's perspective, it was better then.
I also think that 60's produced the best chunk of pop music in the 20th century (with an allowance to the 70's for Steely Dan).
BTW - none of this has a thing to do with Reunion Details.
I'm sending the latest details for the reunion out to everyone that I have contact info for. I'll be using Facebook, emails, phone numbers and addresses. Some of you will probably get more than one. I figure that's better than none.
There are some people on this site that chose to keep their contact info 'unlisted'. This makes it hard to send the information to these individuals. Please, if you are part of this list, email me your contact info. If you want it kept confidential, I will keep it to myself! My goal is just to make sure as many members of the class of '69 receive the information about our reunion as possible!
