It's now October 1st and I don't know about everybody else, but somewhere inside myself the understanding that this is now reunion month is definitely causing me to smile!

Anybody else notice any changes because of this?

I know, Pat, the 3 of us could hang out by the tennis courts and whistle at the guys in shorts. Of course, we're more than old enough to be their mothers...! How's your back hand, BTW?

Backhand still my weakest stroke... Can't tell you the last time I was out on the court... I'm sure I was playing w/ my daughter though.. Alas, I have no one to play with since she left to go to school... See you soon.. Pg

Phyllis, Pat, and Jill,

I don't play tennis, however, I'm 'in' for whistling at the guys in shorts on the tennis courts.  We'll of course get hauled away as we're pushing 60yrs.  Could be fun as long as we're out by party time.  Bet Bill could pull some strings.  I'm in.

A chance for a moment in second childhood.  Teens trapped in failing flesh.  I'll be the cheerful one at the party.

Jerry, the cooler temps here have slowed down the decaying process for me.  That, and Northwest microbrews.

Larry,
I'm with you, buddy. I still feel like that teenager, but my body doesn't want to cooperate any more. See everybody there! We get in town on the 17th.

Let's see, this is Sunday afternoon and the tailgate party is this coming Friday.  Will I be able to lose 15 pounds in five days?  Maybe.  Gotta go!  The Nordic Track's awaiting!!!

Larry,
I am going to give that a try. My guess is that you all will see me Friday evening very fat and very sassy.

I am so sorry to report that I won't be able to make it to the reunion. I was all set to go but there was a change in family plans that made it impossible for me to be there this weekend. Please post plenty of pictures! I will be thinking of you on Saturday.

I am so sorry to hear this.....I just unearthed the slides for our trip to Greece and was planning on bringing a few photos.......I will still bring them as I have a few of Gail V.  Sam Ekiss, and Steve White....and, Lynn Milner....gosh we were young then!!  I have done a bit of historical research to put the photos in context.....do you realize we were there two years after the Military junta that ousted and ended the Greek monarchy....do you remember, they told us the king was on vacation in Paris....exile, vacation....mere semantics ....ah, the memories we all have to share.

Loretta,
I am so pleased to hear you have slides of our trip to Greece.  I can't wait to see them.  One of the things I remember the most about being in Athens was the constant presence of the rifle armed policemen/soldiers on the streets.  Were they soldiers or police?  One of the things I remember the most about being in Rome was being pinched alot by the men.  Even when we were with the Pope I received a pinch on the bottom from some guy in the audience.  There is no excuse for the pinching, but an explanation could be the short skirts and coulots we American girls were wearing.

I have photos of our trip, but they are packed away somewhere in Califonia.

See you this weekend,
Gail

Hey, everybody - quit that!  I'm getting all misty....

Printed off the list of attendees for my own reference.  The brain cells will need some prompting, as I haven't been in AZ for 6 years and haven't seen most of you for 10 and in some cases up to 40.

My brother Paul's house (where we'll stay) is a stone's throw from Daly Pk., so I'll be able to walk there Fri..

We're arriving in town Wed. night weather permitting.  Parts of the drive from Den. quite beautiful (Utah's Hwy 128, Castle Valley, e.g.).

I will be unable to get back to the valley this weekend. I have a consulting contract in Australia ( where I am communicating from ). I wish everyone a great time. It has been nostalgic to follow some of your escapades. Greg, sorry to miss that beer. Jerry, I'll love you always cuz. Paulette, you are the greatest. Ed and Diane, I will call when I get back- maybe we can all get together for a BBQ. I hope that eveyone has a great time. I will miss Mons' 63 Chevy full of beer in his trunk at Daley Park. John, hell yes we could still run that backdoor!

Sincerely;

Michael Hutchings

We will miss you Mike and your wild tales of adventures and mischief.  Be well.  I managed to have a clause written in my contract giving me time off for all class reunions ;0    Paulette
