....praise for how great the this website has become, and for our moderator and those helping her make this a wonderful look back at some great memories (maybe not all of them) about what was a significant time for most of us. Makes me very sorry I didn't know many of you better - my bad.
Thanks again.
Anyone remember a guy named Mike Morris? Don't see him in the yearbook, or...?
Mike was at Gilliland, lived over on 13th, west of Hardy. I don't have any of the Horizons so don't know if he was with us at Tempe or not. Maybe someone like Judy Bender, who I think even saved her lunch napkins from high school, would know. (Judy, you know I like you.)
Hello Mike- I knew Mike Morris pretty well. We used to bomb around in his old black pickup truck. It was the model with curved side rear windows. The pickup bed made for a great platform for throwing green oranges and spray water from fire extinguishers at anyone that was unlucky enough to be walking down the side walk when we drove by. I believe I had Mike in a few classes as well. But can not recall any fun details.
Since moving to Cave Creek 7 years ago I occassionally run into a old friend of Darlene and yours. Karen ___. Can not recall her last name.
Hello everyone. It's me Hunter. I have info on Mike Morris. We talk at least once a week and I see him often. He is living up in Prescott. Mike moved to Tucson our senior year. I ran into him years later when my wife, who is from CA, took me over to meet some of her friends. She met him at MCC. Small world. Of course we picked up right where we left off and have been close friends ever since. Once a Tempe Buff friend always a Tempe Buff friend. Mike doesn't have email so I will ask him if he would mind if I share his phone number.
Dever, Larry, Tommy W., Tommy S., Brent, Tater, MIke M., Mike E., Don, Louie, and Cambell, it is so good to read your entries. Genie, Diane, Denise, Gail, Vicki, Paulette, and Anabelle (I cannot call you Belle, you will always be Annabell to me) you are all beautiful. I love this site. I will write more later as I have other information to share.
Two more things. Rick Mercer is deceased. I cannot remember the circumstances or even the year. I am going to guess the late '80's. Louie Schmitt might remember. Lastly, Diane, why would anyone be afraid of a 'Burger Boy'? Ha, ha.
Yes, Pat (Donovan) Gill works very hard on this site. Nice to see the appreciation for her. She, Larry, and JohnD are the ones who got this whole 40th Reunion up and running.
Jack,
Nice to hear from you too. You'll have to look at the first page of the 'Looking Back' section. One of the graduation night pictures I posted has you in it.
As far as the 'Burger Boys' go, I wasn't afraid, just intrigued.
I'd love to see more lists of favorite memories of THS from you guys too. Took me a couple of days to compile mine.
Diane, you've had just a wee part in it, too. To me, you've been the glue, the catalyst, the . . . . . Mom! Diane has done a ton of behind-the-scenes stuff, not to mention cheering everyone on.
Jack, it took you long enough!
Should also mention that Greg Bunger has been found. He was taken away from THS the last part of his junior year. Not sure the circumstances, but we can assume it was against his will. He lives in Pasco, Washington and owns a construction company. Several of us have his phone number in case anyone wants to ENCOURAGE HIM TO COME!

Take care everyone.

Great to hear from you Jack! This web site is awesome that way. Do you know the circumstances surrounding Rick's death?
