6th Grade Music Program

Louie,

Thanks for getting the music program posted. The different pages lend a real insight into who came from where in Tempe. I had forgotten I had a solo, but I'm sure I was nervous about it.

I had started taking french horn lessons in 5th grade and my teacher was named Miss Pendergast (or something like it). She played with the Phoenix Symphony and taught music at the grade school in Phoenix where I attended.
It was a small school and I had lessons with her every week, but I didn't think of my playing as being anything special. Once in Tempe, they tapped me for solos at every level - 6th grade, jr. high and high school, so my anxiety level stayed up!

Finding this was a good thing for everyone on it. I hope the people who look at it and see their friends names on it. Can pass the information along to the unknowing. I remember the songs and Mrs. Coghill.... only.

Sorry...missed this heading.  My comments about the programs are under 'photo commentary'.  I get a little over zealous at times especially with the memories.  I love um.
