Had to laugh at that one, Gary -- what do they say, it's the quiet ones you have to watch out for!   Didn't expect that from you, but then, it's been 40 yrs.  ........

I know you do, Louie.  You're wondering if he'll open up a shop in Cornville?

Larry & Louie:
Are you talking about Delamater?   He runs 3-4  masge businesses betweem Ventura and Santa Barbara.  I visit him nearly every year and all I get is to go dutch for dinner.  I therefore presume he keeps it on the up & up

Carol:
Quiet  does not mean sweet and innocent.  Funny, I never thought of myself as quiet, just sweet and innocent!  Thanks for all your input and info on the website.  And to all the rest who have done so, too.  I think this reunion is going to be an absolute hoot!!

This is how close our worlds are. I had a roommate that used to work for Mike Delemater in California before moving to Payson. She was looking through my annual for some reason and said 'This is my old Boss!' Interesting!

Ya'll are giving massage therapists a bad name.  Along with my college degrees and professional careers, I am a Certified Massage Therapist, too.  Perhaps I will bring my table to the reunion.  I do not perform the 'finish' except for very special clients. The ones with a lot of money. JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a massage therapist, but I am very selective about clients.  I have done quite a bit of work on friends who are athletes, prepping them for competitions and treating them when they get really sore or spasmed.  I have taken many hours of training for therapeutic and deep tissue massage.  I haven't done much since I have been here in AZ.

Now, Louis and Larry, do not take this and run with it.  Okay?

Gail, you ran a lot farther with it than I did.

I had a woman who was trained in Rolfing (?) work on me in Telluride.  I'd managed to land headfirst after a jump on skiis (weird how you act when you do these kinds of things -- people run up and ask, 'Are you okay, are you okay?' and you say nonchalantly through gritted teeth, 'Oh, yeah, no problem.  I'm fine.', and at the same time praying that you'll be able to walk again).  The next morning I couldn't get my t-shirt off my muscles were so knotted.  The therapist told me that if she was going to help me, she was going to have to hurt me.  Man did it hurt, but 45 minutes later I could move.

Carol is innocent.

Gary went Dutch.

Gail is very selective.

Vicki knows someone named Delemeter.

Larry got more than a Massage. He's not talking.

In Cornville the Massage Therapists are by appointment and they show up in BMW's.

I know

Wow, Gail -- you're a woman of all trades, aren't you?  You could prob. make a lot of money if you bring your table to the reunion, but then prob. more at the 50 yr. reunion!

Louie, hmmm, -- jumping to conclusions a little, aren't you?   lol!

Gary, yes, you were quiet back then -- I was always behind you in line -- Pa, Pe -- now Louie is another story ...... you were in the homeroom class in 8th gr. who (boys) laughed me to tears during one of my reports -- scarred me for life!

Det. Cannon has the dirt on everyone -- ask him!    lol!

Today's free thinkers have brought me a lot of laughter! Massage broads - expensive finishes - sweet and maybe innocent - I have ot tell you a story that recently happened to me.

I manage residential property and I have 2 tenants, Ryan and Melissa. Melissa is 30 but looks about the way we did as sophomores. They've been having trouble making their rent and when the owner began eviction proceedings I sent him their applications. He e-mailed me back later that day with a picture of Melissa I'd never seen before. Turns out she's a porn star! Yes, skinny, no boobs, hair down to her waist - a porn star! Should I invite her ot the reunion? Maybe Mike can hire her, Gary will finally have a massage broad, Gail can loan her the table and Louie can see if she'll come to Cornville!

WELL, .... I can tell you that the girl who rented a room from me aanndd worked for Mike D. (won't spell it now that LL made fun of me) was/is hotter than a 2$ pistol.

What does that say about the massage business that Mike is in? Hmmm. She would knock the socks off any person that came in there. Assuming they had their socks on!

Waiting for reply from Mike D. (Not DeVirgillio)

Oh my gosh, we are all so sick. Perhaps we have stumbled on preventive action to ward off Alzheimer's Disease.  Free flowing association with rambling entries on a 'massage' board.  What do you think?

We had a guest speaker to listen to in the Auditorium.

He/She came out to speak and we all started clapping, LOL  As the roar of clapping came to a stop {not me}. You guys started clapping again and we all joined in and just stayed clapping. That speaker thought I guess we wanted to hear their speech. The Auditorium was pretty full. I swear we clapped for a half hour and everyone was laughing. We started doing this one often enough. I think Goullad and friends started this one. A GOOD ONE !

Well, if this thread is for welcomes and hellos, Hello!

Greg, Gary, Brent,  I haven't seen you all for at least 10 years when you would stop by my corn stand on Chandler Blvd.  Greg was installing cabinets I believe?

Ted and Nancy, I catch with your goings on with Andy at our Farm Bureau meetings.  Hey, we're practically neighbors.

Dick and Linda. We ARE neighbors!  Just a couple of miles apart.  What's up with that?  We saw Jason and family at Aloha Kitchen a while back. Filled us in on the Jones'.  We'd love to get together!

We're still doing the sweet corn thing, at least this year.  If ANY of you 69 Buffaloes are in the SE valley before the 4th of July, please drop in and say hello.  I'll even treat you to a little sweet corn for your grazing pleasure!  We're a mile south of the San Tan freeway on Val Vista Dr, on the west side of the road.  Just call so I can be sure to be there and say hello, maybe snap a few pics.  cell # 602-376-6296

This web site has been a real trip!  Thanks to all those making it possible!

Rick

Hey Rick,

Nice to see your family on the Look at us Now. Beautiful! Wow! you moved far away from the Kyrene place. Did you know that I had a 'Youth Ranch' at the Old Farnsworth place in Gilbert @ Val Vista and Greenfield?

Do you remember my little yellow horse and how Jody McRae and I used to ride out there our sophmore year? (Was it your big Palominio or Vance's?) I got to see Jody a bit up in Payson and was there with hospice when he was sick. His daughter is going to nursing school and did a rotation in the facility where I work.

Tell your friend we are playing here, ''like I believe'' you guys are more than Massage Therapists. I encouraged Mike Delamater to do his new business in Massage Therapy years back when he used to come see me in Vegas and we played quarters at the Casinos.

And the Massage Therapists are driving BMW's or equal around Sedona. I threw Cornville in there for Larry Cannon's sake.

YOUR FRIEND,
Louie

Hi Gail,
I too, like Gary Patton got injured in a ski crash. I came off of packed snow
into mashed potatoes (a ski term for slush) did the splits, and pulled a groin
muscle. Would that be an extra charge for a massage in that area, still
hurts from time to time?
Tommy
