You must be a scrapbooking fool! Great photos you offer up. Genie Davis says she has some from preschool with Grady and the Payne Training group. Hope she posts those too.
Great pictures of you on your recent trip to Costa Rica. You guys take some adventurous trips. You must be in great shape (some things never change). Two more things: The yellow and greeen shorts are awesome, makes me rethink my hiking clothes; Why sandals when you're scaling a mountain? I think I'd want suction cups and a parachute.
PAULETTE,
I think i had those same jams in high school, nice really nice.(i have a pair of blue and white now)
I see your still the leader of the pack!
Wasn't Costa Rica the greatest ever?! We were there in April this year. Arenal area was our favorite. Beautiful mountains. Late night hot tubs. Butterflies. Monkeys, Macas,(sp), Zip lines through the jungle! We stayed most of the time at Playa Bejuco near Jaco. Beautiful sunsets on the black sand beaches! Nothing better than walking the beach with family and half of our grandkids finding live sanddollars. Wonderfully friendly people. Great food and fruit! Ony downer was the horrible flight down!!!
I enjoyed seeing the picture of the 1963 Mitchell School Faculty. I recognized many faces there. In the back row, 5th one from the left is my 6th grade teacher, Mr. Cox. I seem to remember Mike Mills, Ron Erickson, Gloria Danials, and Lynn Semon from that class. Prolly others from THS '69 were also in that class and I apologize for not remembering the rest. I wish I had Tracker Cannon's photogenic mind. Anyway, one incident that I've always remembered was Mr. Cox leading us in calisthenics at recess one day. When he started doing jumping jacks, his cigarettes came flying out of his shirt pocket. oops!

PURA VIDA!!
Rick
I thought I would just gag if I heard PURA VIDA one more time! Our guide said it soooo much. The sandals have toe guards and are extremely comfy (Keens). Those are guys shorts that I found in Mazatlan. Don't you think they are just the thing for rain forest camouflage?? Costa Rica is a wonder of natural beauty. Lots of oos and ahs everywhere you look. We loved the beach and water but had a close encounter with some jelly fish that made the pool by the beach look much more appealing. Plus it had a swim up bar. Everything you said AND turtles laying eggs at night on the beach on the Caribbean side of Costa at Tortuguero.

The answer to all is in response to Rick Evans. We weren't really hiking, it was mostly walking paths through the jungle. You gotta love the shorts :) !!!
WOAH! I hadn't checked the 'Looking Back' section for awhile.
Phyllis, did you and Greg get a brick from Broadmor after they tore it down? I know where you can get one if you didn't. Thanks for the inside scoop JohnD.
Great picture of you and the family, Nancy. Loved seeing your boys and their families and fiancee. Looks like a great place you have. Isn't it great when you get them all together? All Ed and I have to do is provide the food and they come. The price is right at the cabin.
The picture of Grady is a must see! How long ago was that taken? Ya gotta love the hair.
Rick, it's nice to have you on board as well. Beautiful pictures of your abode. The view with the snow is the best as well as the one of the ocean. Looks like you have the best of both worlds. Good for you.
Thanks for posting all of those guys. Pictures say a thousand words.
To all have contributed and posted Obitituaries, stories, and commentary, thank you. While I did not know all of the deceased from our class, I'm touched by the memories and pictures. I didn't recognize the current picture of Coach Lambeth, but certainly do now that someone posted his picture from '69.
Louis' tribute to Kelly McKee tells me allot about them both in the best sense of the word.
I still remember Dennis Friestad coming by my house in 8th grade. So nice to see the happy pictures posted of him by his wife.
Just noticed the recent postings of the Cannon family. Larry, did they ever resurface? I'm worried.
The ones of 4 girls in a chair. How about Genie's hands on Vicki's butt, the smile on Vics' face and who knows where Paulette's hands were, then Linda sitting there like she doesn't know what's up. Oh, and the one with Gary, Dick and Greg is good too.
Jerry the name of that mountain(s) is what?
