Today is Aug. 15th, 1 year anniversary of the 'girl's slumber party' last year in Payson. I just want to say how great it was to be there and how much I appreciated getting to know ( a little, anyway) the women who attended. And a great big thanks to Vickie Smith for being a marvelous hostess. It was such a great time!
And Happy Birthday on the 16 to Larry 'Tracker' Cannon, patron saint of High School reunions!
That slumber party last year set me up for expectations this year. No phone call . . . yet!
Don't now if I told many, but in the process of finding people last year, I got curious about whatever happened to Greg Bunger. I was actually able to find him, and talked with him by phone. His parents moved late in his junior year to Oregon, and he graduated from Tillamook High. He now lives in Pasco, Washington (I had a sense he was near . . . ;-) ) and has a construction company.
Thanks for starting up a new 'thread' and hopefully breathing some new life back into this website! I know for certain many classmates check it periodically, even it we don't write. I've been wondering myself what 'topic' might get people interested again. Politics and religion always stirs things up. Guess we already tried that. Anybody have any ideas? Just hope we can stay connected.
Yes, I too was thinking about the slumber party, Phyllis. I had to leave early for my sister's 60th surprise party. THE phone call (was it drunk dialing?) you're speaking of Larry, must have come after I left. Bet it made your day.
I thought Vickie (or somebody) posted the slumber party pics. As I recall, we were all standing in a large semi circle on Vickie's patio. Try looking in 'Look at us now' or 'We Got toether.'
Diane,
Yes, we should leave religion and politics alone. If our class were on a date, would we have run out of things to talk about? Never happened to me! Gab, babble, ramble, yada, yada - whatever and however you say it, I could always find something to talk about.
As for the birthday call to Larry, it was Sunday morning at the breakfast table.
I swear I will get with Kelly Moeur and put together a sample chapter and an outline for the book on Tempe we should collaborate on. Once we have a rough draft, we'll present it here.
I wasn't invited to any slumber party last year. However, put me on the
list if you do it again. Cannon and I can sneak around the trees and
see whats going on. Maybe do some Freddy Cruger fun stuff!!!!
