The number of people watching you is directly proportional to the stupidity of your action.

Bad news is good information.

Good news is badly needed.

How long a minute is depends on which side of the bathroom door you're on.

You gain power when you surrender.

Opportunity dances with he (or she) who is on the dance floor.

Out of sorrow comes happiness.  A tragic event can open the door to a wonder event.

If Bill Richardson had not had his accident, he would never have met and married his wife and produced their two amazingly wonderful kids.

Too long to post here, but I recommend a little book entitled, 'Pigs Eat Wolves,' by Charles Bates (his more recent name - Yogiraj Achala):

http://www.amazon.com/Pigs-Eat-Wolves-Going-Partnership/dp/0936663324

It's a retelling of the parable of The Three Pigs, with commentary and analysis.  I actually use it in a course that I teach dealing with ethics & leadership; a theme of developmental psychology runs through it.  It's been known to cut through situations in students' lives or work environments that have been blocking progress.

Sort of qualifies as a 'Murphy's Laws of Life' example.

All things being equal, a fat person uses more soap than a thin person.

Don't worry over what other people are thinking about you.
They're too busy worryimg about what you are thinking about them.

There are no victims, only participants.

I would rephrase the previous saying to read,

'There are no victims, only volynteers.'

Universities are full of knowledge. The Freshman bring a little in
and the Seniors take none away and knowledge accumulates.
