Ok, Mr. Dee, you forced me to do this! I found all my old senior english papers - can't believe I saved them and can't believe I found them, either. Here is a poem I wrote to you on Nov. 20, 1968 Dedicated to Mr. Dee Master mind-prowler, Patron Saint of all day books. Overlooking the building of lives and ideas and spires. Endlessly searching for anything good in us. Trying to be an image worth remembering. We all know! All of us understand. You can bring forth any and all in us, what you want in us. In your earthen palm we shoot from pods to fully grown beings. Under your right arm hisses COBUE, leaning on you for strength to plod on strength to buckle up. Banaba-nut strength only a Dee endures.
